Am 19. Februar jährt sich der rassistische Anschlag in Hanau zum 6. Mal.
Jedes Jahr, jeden Monat nennen wir neun Namen – und meinen alle Opfer rechter, rassistischer und antisemitischer Gewalt. Wir gedenken aller. Und wir meinen alle.
Seit sechs Jahren leben wir mit Schmerz und Wut. Sie sind Teil unseres Alltags geworden. Für die Angehörigen bedeutet Erinnern, die Geschichte immer wieder zu erzählen – so, wie sie geschehen ist. Gegen das Vergessen. Gegen die Verharmlosung. Gegen das Verdrehen der Wahrheit.
Ihre Namen sind eine Anklage. Sie fordern uns heraus, den rassistischen Normalzustand zu benennen und zu bekämpfen – im Alltag, in Behörden, in Politik, in Medien und in den Sicherheitsapparaten. Dort, wo weggesehen, relativiert und geschwiegen wird. Dort, wo Warnungen ignoriert und Betroffene nicht gehört werden.
Betroffenheit und Lippenbekenntnisse reichen nicht. Der Staat ist seiner Bringschuld nicht nachgekommen – bis heute nicht.
Ohne juristische Aufklärung und kritische Aufarbeitung bleibt alles, wie es immer war:
Die Straflosigkeit in den Behörden geht weiter.
In einer Zeit, in der die Gefahr einer rechtsextremen Regierung real ist, sagen wir klar: Nie wieder ist jetzt.
Wir fordern genaues Zuhören und echte Solidarität mit den Betroffenen. Solange wir nicht als gleichwertiger Teil dieser Gesellschaft anerkannt werden, sind rechte Gewalt und Ausgrenzung keine Ausnahme – sie sind die Folge dieses Zustands. Für die Verantwortlichen darf es kein „Weiter so“ geben. Nicht für die, die schweigen. Nicht für die, die wegsehen. Nicht für die, die vertuschen. Und nicht für die, die Täter schützen statt der Opfer.
Unsere Botschaft zum sechsten Jahrestag ist klar:
Erinnern heißt verändern.
Erinnern heißt handeln.
Erinnern heißt kämpfen.
Erinnern heißt, zusammenzukommen und aufeinander achtzugeben.
Darum rufen wir dazu auf, am 19. Februar gemeinsam zu erinnern und SAY THEIR NAMES überall sichtbar zu machen.

On 19 February, the racist attack in Hanau marks its 6th anniversary.
Every year, every month, we name nine names – and we mean all victims of right-wing, racist and antisemitic violence. We commemorate all of them. And we mean everyone.
For six years we have lived with pain and anger. They have become part of our daily lives. For the families, remembering means telling the story again and again – exactly as it happened. Against forgetting. Against trivialisation. Against the distortion of truth.
Their names are an accusation. They challenge us to name and fight the racist state of normality – in everyday life, in authorities, in politics, in the media and in the security apparatus. Where people look away, relativise and remain silent. Where warnings are ignored and those affected are not heard.
Expressions of sympathy and empty words are not enough. The state has not fulfilled its responsibility – not until today.
Without legal clarification and critical review, everything remains as it has always been:
Impunity within the authorities continues.
At a time when the danger of a far-right government is real, we say clearly: Never again is now.
We demand careful listening and real solidarity with those affected. As long as we are not recognised as an equal part of this society, right-wing violence and exclusion are not exceptions – they are the result of this condition. There must be no “business as usual” for those responsible. Not for those who remain silent. Not for those who look away. Not for those who cover things up. And not for those who protect perpetrators instead of victims.
Our message on the sixth anniversary is clear:
Remembering means changing.
Remembering means acting.
Remembering means fighting.
Remembering means coming together and taking care of one another.
That is why we call on everyone to remember together on 19 February and to make SAY THEIR NAMES visible everywhere.

Le 19 février marque le 6ᵉ anniversaire de l’attentat raciste de Hanau.
Chaque année, chaque mois, nous nommons neuf noms – et nous pensons à toutes les victimes de la violence d’extrême droite, raciste et antisémite. Nous les commémorons toutes. Et nous pensons à toutes.
Depuis six ans, nous vivons avec la douleur et la colère. Elles font désormais partie de notre quotidien. Pour les proches, se souvenir signifie raconter encore et encore l’histoire – telle qu’elle s’est réellement déroulée. Contre l’oubli. Contre la banalisation. Contre la falsification de la vérité.
Leurs noms sont une accusation. Ils nous obligent à nommer et à combattre le racisme ordinaire – dans la vie quotidienne, les administrations, la politique, les médias et les appareils de sécurité. Là où l’on détourne le regard, relativise et se tait. Là où les avertissements sont ignorés et où les personnes concernées ne sont pas écoutées.
L’émotion et les paroles creuses ne suffisent pas. L’État n’a pas assumé sa responsabilité – pas jusqu’à aujourd’hui.
Sans clarification judiciaire et sans analyse critique, tout reste comme avant :
l’impunité au sein des institutions continue.
À une époque où le danger d’un gouvernement d’extrême droite est réel, nous le disons clairement : plus jamais, c’est maintenant.
Nous exigeons une écoute attentive et une véritable solidarité avec les personnes concernées. Tant que nous ne serons pas reconnues comme une partie égale de cette société, la violence et l’exclusion d’extrême droite ne seront pas des exceptions – mais la conséquence de cet état. Il ne peut y avoir aucun « comme avant » pour les responsables. Ni pour celleux qui se taisent. Ni pour celleux qui détournent le regard. Ni pour celleux qui dissimulent. Ni pour celleux qui protègent les auteurices plutôt que les victimes.
Notre message pour le sixième anniversaire est clair :
Se souvenir, c’est changer.
Se souvenir, c’est agir.
Se souvenir, c’est lutter.
Se souvenir, c’est se rassembler et prendre soin les un*es des autres.
C’est pourquoi nous appelons à commémorer ensemble le 19 février et à rendre SAY THEIR NAMES visible partout.

في 19 شباط/فبراير تحل الذكرى السادسة للهجوم العنصري في هاناو.
في كل عام، في كل شهر، نذكر تسعة أسماء – ونقصد جميع ضحايا العنف اليميني والعنصري والمعادي للسامية. نحيي ذكرى الجميع. ونعني الجميع.
منذ ست سنوات نعيش مع الألم والغضب. أصبحا جزءًا من حياتنا اليومية. بالنسبة لذوي الضحايا، يعني التذكّر رواية القصة مرارًا وتكرارًا – كما حدثت تمامًا. ضد النسيان. ضد التهوين. ضد تشويه الحقيقة.
أسماؤهم هي اتهام. إنها تُجبرنا على تسمية ومواجهة الواقع العنصري السائد – في الحياة اليومية، وفي المؤسسات، وفي السياسة، وفي الإعلام، وفي الأجهزة الأمنية. حيث يتم تجاهل الأمور، وتبريرها، والصمت عنها. حيث تُهمل التحذيرات ولا يُستمع إلى المتضررين.
التعاطف والكلمات الفارغة لا تكفي. لم يفِ الدّولة بمسؤوليتها – حتى اليوم.
ومن دون تحقيق قانوني ومراجعة نقدية حقيقية، يبقى كل شيء كما كان دائمًا:
استمرار الإفلات من العقاب داخل المؤسسات.
في زمن أصبح فيه خطر حكومة يمينية متطرفة حقيقيًا، نقول بوضوح: لن يتكرر أبدًا – الآن هو الوقت.
نطالب بالاستماع الجاد وبالتضامن الحقيقي مع المتضررين. ما دمنا غير معترف بنا كجزء متساوٍ من هذا المجتمع، فإن العنف اليميني والإقصاء ليسا استثناءً – بل نتيجة لهذا الواقع. لا يمكن أن يكون هناك «استمرار كالمعتاد» للمسؤولين. لا لمن يصمتون. ولا لمن يتجاهلون. ولا لمن يخفون الحقيقة. ولا لمن يحمون الجناة بدلًا من الضحايا.
رسالتنا في الذكرى السادسة واضحة:
التذكّر يعني التغيير.
التذكّر يعني الفعل.
التذكّر يعني النضال.
التذكّر يعني الاجتماع والاعتناء ببعضنا البعض.
لذلك ندعو إلى إحياء الذكرى معًا في 19 شباط/فبراير وجعل SAY THEIR NAMES مرئية في كل مكان.

El 19 de febrero se cumple el sexto aniversario del atentado racista de Hanau.
Cada año, cada mes, decimos nueve nombres – y nos referimos a todas las víctimas de la violencia de extrema derecha, racista y antisemita. Recordamos a todas. Y decimos todas.
Desde hace seis años vivimos con dolor y rabia. Se han convertido en parte de nuestra vida cotidiana. Para las familias, recordar significa contar la historia una y otra vez – tal como ocurrió. Contra el olvido. Contra la minimización. Contra la manipulación de la verdad.
Sus nombres son una acusación. Nos exigen nombrar y combatir la normalidad racista – en la vida diaria, en las instituciones, en la política, en los medios y en los aparatos de seguridad. Allí donde se mira hacia otro lado, se relativiza y se guarda silencio. Allí donde se ignoran advertencias y no se escucha a las personas afectadas.
La conmoción y las palabras vacías no son suficientes. El Estado no ha cumplido con su responsabilidad – ni hasta hoy.
Sin esclarecimiento jurídico ni revisión crítica, todo sigue como siempre:
la impunidad dentro de las instituciones continúa.
En un momento en el que el peligro de un gobierno de extrema derecha es real, lo decimos claramente: nunca más es ahora.
Exigimos escucha atenta y solidaridad real con las personas afectadas. Mientras no se nos reconozca como parte igualitaria de esta sociedad, la violencia y la exclusión de extrema derecha no son excepciones – son la consecuencia de esta situación. No puede haber un “seguir como hasta ahora” para ls responsables. No para quienes callan. No para quienes miran hacia otro lado. No para quienes encubren. Y no para quienes protegen a ls agresor*s en lugar de a las víctimas.
Nuestro mensaje en el sexto aniversario es claro:
Recordar significa cambiar.
Recordar significa actuar.
Recordar significa luchar.
Recordar significa reunirse y cuidarnos mutuamente.
Por eso llamamos a recordar junt*s el 19 de febrero y a hacer visible SAY THEIR NAMES en todas partes.
