Enough is enough – Organisiert den Widerstand! Gegen Polizeigewalt!

Zwei Polizisten haben am Montag, den 02.05.22, in Mannheim einen 47-jährigen migrantischen Mann getötet. Ein weiterer unschuldiger Mensch, dessen Leben gewaltvoll genommen wurde; eine weitere traumatisierte Familie. Nur schwer können wir ertragen, wie deutsche Medien den Fall bagatellisieren und die Täter schützen. Es wird berichtet, der Mann sei „infolge einer Polizeikontrolle kollabiert.“ Doch wir alle haben mit Wut und Hass das Video gesehen, in dem der Polizist brutal auf den am Boden liegenden und bereits fixierten Mann einschlägt. Dieser soll zuvor in einer psychiatrischen Einrichtung untergebracht gewesen sein. Die Ärzt*innen hatten ihn vermisst und die Polizei eingeschaltet, was seinen Tod zur Folge hatte. Wieder eimal zeigt sich, dass die Polizei eine rassistische, ableistische, patriarchale und gewaltvolle Institution ist, die uns keine Sicherheit bringt und abgeschafft gehört. Es reicht! Enough is enough! Die Liste der Opfer von Polizeigewalt wird länger und länger und es folgen keine Konsequenzen. Wir haben keine Lust mehr, ohnmächtig zuzusehen, wie der Polizeiapparat immer weiter ausgebaut wird und gewalttätige Schlägertypen, Nazis und stille Mitwisser*innen im Namen des deutschen Staates unsere Geschwister, Friends und Genoss*innen drangsalieren und ermorden. Wir werden nicht darauf warten, wer als nächstes dran ist. Kommt am Samstag, den 07.05.22 mit uns auf die Straße, um Solidarität mit den Opfern zu zeigen und ein klares Zeichen gegen Polizeigewalt zu setzen: ein Angriff auf eine*n ist ein Angriff auf alle! Wir fordern eine lückenlose Aufklärung und Konsequenzen für die Täter. Kein weiterer Mord durch deutsche Cops, keine weitere Gewalt durch dieses verrottete System! Two police officers killed a 47-year-old migrant man in Mannheim, on monday, 02.05.22. Another innocent person whose life was violently taken; another traumatized family. We are sick and tired of the way German media trivialize cases of police violence and protect the perpetrators. They report that the man „collapsed as a result of a police stop.“ But we have all seen the video which shows that the policeman brutally beats a man who was already lying on the ground. The man had previously been in a psychiatric facility, that he left without consultation of his doctor who then had the police look for him, which resulted in his death. Once again we see that the police is a racist, ableist, patriarchal and violent institution that does not provide security and must be abolished. Enough is enough! The list of victims of police violence grows longer and longer and no consequences follow. The police apparatus is expanded even though it produces cops who murder our brothers and sisters, friends and comrades in the name of the German state. We will not wait to see who is next. Come with us on Saturday, 07.05.22 on the streets to show solidarity with the victims and to set a clear sign against police violence: touch one, touch all! We demand a complete investigation and consequences for the perpetrators. No more murder by German cops, no more violence by this rotten system! No justice, no peace – abolish the police!
